Great Bastards of the Christian faith #3

Great Bastards of the Christian faith #3 - Mother Teresa

Bio:
Mother Teresa of Calcutta, (born Agnes Gonxhe Bojaxhiu August 27, 1910 in Skopje in modern Macedonia (then part of the Ottoman Empire)) Order of Merit (August 27, 1910 Â? September 5, 1997), was an Albanian Catholic nun who founded the Missionaries of Charity in India. Her work among the poverty-stricken of Kolkata (Calcutta) made her one of the world's most famous people, and she was beatified by Pope John Paul II in October 2003. Hence, she may be properly called Blessed Teresa by Catholics.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother_Teresa)

Reasons for Inclusion:
1) After collecting billions of dollars, she made no public accounting of where it was spent, instead she praised poverty. Why is her charity the only one to not give a public set ofaccountss?

2) After collecting billions she failed to build even one hospital.

3) It was policy to baptise all the dying into the Catholic church whether they wanted to or not.

4)Why did she win the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 because she never did anything for peace. In her acceptance speech she said, Â?Abortion is the worst evil, and the greatest enemy of peace... "

5)The standard of medical care provided was non-existent, yet when she fell ill she went to the best clinics the west had to offer.

Well done another fine Christian!!
