Praise God?????

I received an unsolicited piece of religious propaganda today. It was about God's mercy at saving a premature baby. Here a couple of exerts.

"That afternoon of March 10, 1991, complications had forced Diana, only 24-weeks pregnant, to undergo an emergency Cesarean to deliver couple's new daughter, Dana Lu Blessing.
"There's only a 10-percent chance she will live through the night, and even then, if by some slim chance she does make it, her future could be a very cruel one"
And two months later, though doctors continued to gently but grimly warn that her chances of surviving, much less living any kind of normal life, were next to zero, Dana went home from the hospital, just as her mother had predicted.
One blistering afternoon in the summer of 1996 near her home in Irving, Texas, Dana was sitting in her mother's lap in the bleachers of a local ball park where her brother Dustin's baseball team was practicing.
As always, Dana was chattering nonstop with her mother and several other adults sitting nearby when she suddenly fell silent. Hugging her arms across her chest, little Dana asked, "Do you smell that?"
During those long days and nights of her first two months of her life, when her nerves were too sensitive for them to touch her, God was holding Dana on His chest and it is His loving scent that she remembers so well.

What a lovely story.

David and Briana Blessing gave birth to a massively premature baby. Fortunately for them they were wealthy and well insured living in an advanced an affluent country. They decided to persevere with keeping their daughter alive at whatever cost. Through the use of neo intensive natal care and multi million dollar equipment they succeeded and she became the first baby born at 24 weeks not to have brain damage in the history of the world. Hallelujahs a miracle of God.

Meanwhile downstairs Robert Jones was admitted to hospital with chest pains Robert was 38 with a family of four. His medical benefits were not great but as a loving father and church elder he put his faith in God and in his doctors. His medical insurance however placed him on a waiting list because funds had been diverted form the surgical unit to extent Neo natal intensive care, Robert did of a heart attack within 48 hours of being admitted to hospital. Hallelujah praise the lord.

Sarah is an 85 year pensioner living in a government nursing facility she broke her hip 8 months ago and has been awaiting surgery for a replacement, but due to transfer of funds to neo natal intensive care she will wait 18 months confined to bed and suffering. Unfortunately because of this she will develop complications and die in 12 months. Hallelujah, praise the lord for his mercy.

Consala used to receive chemo therapy for her breast cancer both her medical plan has now run out and she receives no further treatment and lies at home slowly dying while her family prays. Praise the Lord for he is good.

Michael and Sarah Smith have just given birth to Samuel their first child. He is premature and at 30 weeks has a good chance for normal life. Unfortunately there are no neonatal beds available and he dies within 24 hours. Thank you Jesus.


For every neo natal facility established other areas of medicine are cut back. I have heard directly from doctor who attend such meeting. The question they address is how many do we leave to die to bring more intellectually retarded infants into the world.

Why do you praise God for the good things and don't blame him for the far greater number of screw ups?

If this God you refer to actually exists he is a complete and utter malevolent bastard. The truth is you are deluded putting your faith in things that do not exist by believing in what supports your magical belief and ignoring what contradicts it.


Here is your chance to bring the light of sweet reason to the darkness of the religious heart. Please send this message of hope and common sense to those 5 deluded people that passed this nonsense to you. Perhaps your action will make them realize that they are lost and deluded and if they only acted instead of believed they could make a difference to this world.



Why have I done this?

I did not seek you out, you sought me out. I did not bring up religion you did. Once you raised your deluded and ignorant beliefs without my consent, then I am free to attack, mock and ridicule them.
Good manners would dictate that your private beliefs are private as are mine. Once you make them public then the gloves are off.



I often wonder how gullible and stupid people are.

How many impossible things can I believe before breakfast today??
